Pricing – The Electrical People

We are currently not VAT registered. All prices indicated below will not have VAT applied.

There is a minimum charge of 1.5 hours on a callout.

The price indicated is not inclusive of parking and/or congestion charge/LEZ charges.

General Work

£70 / Hour

Our general work price covers all pre-booked work at any time that has been agreed between us.

Call out

Our call out covers all last minute spontaneous work during our usual working hours.

Our emergency out-of-hours covers all callouts outside of our usual working hours.

Electrical certificates provided where required
1.5 hour minimum charge applies
We will only attempt to restore power or make safe
Your first hour of labour is included in the call out fee
We will return at a later date to complete remedial works at our general work price

EPC's

We charge EPC’s on an hourly basis. Generally we can completed a 2 story 2 bedroom property in an hour.

Includes lodging the EPC so it appears on the public register
Same day lodging
We can give you recommendations to increase your EPC rating and give you a quote for work
Consultancy on how to improve your grade
We offer an intrusive EPC option where we will remove fittings and accessories in an attempt to find insulation which will improve your rating.
We cannot guarantee a specific rating
No work carried out to upgrade your property to increase EPC rating.

EICR's

An EICR is a must if you are a landlord. This must be done every 5 years as a minimum.

EICR report provided within 24 hours
We will not give you an unsatisfactory report for minor issues which can be easily resolved there and then
We provide photographic evidence of our findings
We will quote you to rectify and unsatisfactory findings automatically
The cost of the EICR does not cover the cost of any remedial works

New Installation /Rewires

We operate a per point pricing strategy on rewires. This allows you to know exactly how much your installation or rewire is going to cost you.
